L.A. looked at him blankly. Geoffrey? Uh....nope, not ringing a bell. At least he had a normal sounding name. She hadn't come across one of those in a while. But then again he was one of those 'I'm so sarcastic and pompous' types. Little intern. He would learn, that's for sure.
She chuckled slightly, finding everything amusing. "Geoffrey, huh?" She clucked her tongue, nodding, without slowing her pace. "Well Gee-off, in the end nobody's gonna remember your name if you keep up with that attitude. You'll wind up dead more soon than ya think."

Guinne raised a brow at Geoffrey. How obnoxious. He had never heard the name before, but he assumed he was probably an intern. The edge of his mouth twitched at L.A.'s redirected fast mouth. These were the times he was glad she was his partner, when it was them against someone else.
"True story." He adds.

Geoffrey had snorted at the introduction of the dim-witted man to the conflict, his eyes flicking every so often between both assailants. His slightly-chapped lips had curled unpleasantly, hands both folded behind his back so tightly it looked as though he would not be able to unravel them for several years, and leaning oh-so-extemporaneously against the partition. "And you there," he articulated coldly, need to ascertain your circumstantial aptitude to keep your mouth shut." Extracting an apathetic extremity and gesticulating to the male, Geoffrey wondered vaguely if they were going to attack him, as they had so clearly meant.

L.A. whirled around and stomped back, stepping in front of her partner. She reached forward, grabbing Gee-off's perfectly arranged tie and yanking it forward, bringing his pompous, scornful face to her own. Her eye twitched as she glared at him with intensity.
"And YOU, little intern, ought to watch what you say around me, especially if it's about MY partner." She yanked his tie harder, not liking ANYONE ordering or demeaning her partner. That was HER job after all! "If this is your way of being grateful to Shinra for even THINKING about accepting your sorry ass, then it won't be long before they get rid of you."She smirked, shoving him back. "And I do mean that, quite literally." She swiftly turned on her heel, tapping on Guinne's arm as she left.

Guinne made a face he managed to make only vaguely obvious he was trying to avoid smiling before spinning on his heel and following L.A.'s lead. Aww. L.A. can be very endearing sometimes...
He squashed the slight curiosity he had to look back at Geoffrey again. We could take him,he pondered, I could take him. He smirked to himself, feeling confident about his assessment.

Geoffrey looked on, amused, as they departed the scene; he wondered slightly as he tipped head to the left a bit if he was supposed to inflict some sort of Parthian shot. The face that that male had made was... black-mail worthy. He yawned, fixed his tie again; massaging his strangulated neck in the process; and examined his armsayes. They were, he supposed, perfectly fine, although the left bit of clothing seemed to have a bit of redness where she had pushed him into the wall.
Well, that wouldn't coagulate. Perhaps he should put something on it.
He walked back to in front of the elevator he had exited, which was unfortunately in use. Geoffrey sighed and attempted staunching the blood flow for as long as it took for him to get to the infirmary.

L.A. looked back at Guinne with her trademark smile, seemingly over her little tantrum back in the hallway and started to breif him.
"So this mission....like I said, is important, because we've got to cover Reno and Rude from the other side. AVALANCHE is gonna try to blow out one of the reactors, and we gotta stop 'em." She smiled amusingly. "It'll be dangerous. But it's a job for none other than- THE TURKS~!" She yelled, displaying her feelings proudly. She pumped a fist into the air and ran down the main hallway to the doors.

Guinne grinned lightly back. Hopefully all would go according to plan and life would continue being happy.
AVALANCHE are pretty crazy though, he knew it would probably be a good fight. He eyed his partner. She's pretty crazy too though.
"You're right."
He caught up with her and pushed through the doors.

By that time, Geoffrey had managed to get into the elevator, but closer examination of his arm revealed that he had, indeed, merely been seeing things. With a sigh, he slipped out of the cubicle and wandered around for something to do. The person he was interning for had said something about some sort of mission, although the person's name had slipped past him. Ending up in a bench, he rolled an eye and balanced his chin on his arm, that in itself being on his kneecap. His eyes wandered around the area, wondering where everyone had gone.

She continued on to the loading department, which was filled with helicoptors, being loaded with various supplies to be shipped to various locations. She spotted a familiar stream of red near one and quickly made her way to him, making sure to pull Guinne along so he wouldn't get lost.
"RENO!!" She yelled out, waving her arm spastically, along with Guinne's whose hand she had been holding onto.
The redhead turned around and flashed them both a grin, before continuing his conversation over his PHS. Rude was standing not too far from his partner, erect and silent as usual. The helicoptor beside them was being prepared for their ride. L.A. looked over at Guinne and yanked him over to Rude, who had been raising a brow at them in strange amusement.

Guinne paled immediately; his eyes widened in bewilderment at L.A.
What is your damage, he wanted to hiss, had his throat not sewn itself shut with his nerves. No words would come out.
Guinne panicked internally, frozen in fear. He could barely look at Rude, but knowing Rude was looking at them scared the crap out of him. His hands felt clammy and his whole entire body felt as if a ghost was standing in the same spot- unnaturally cold.

After a few condolences to himself, Geoffrey had gone outside, as in his late-night sneaky promenades he had heard tell of the mission concerning helicopters. Helicopters, of course, needed helipads. And helipads were in the loading department. Whoooo.
Dusting himself off, he had abruptly decided to look in, and was looking around the area, pretending to be taking in the sight of boxes and bags being stuck into cabins connected to huge rotating pipes, when he saw the two he had blown off just a few minutes before. With a wicked grin, he turned around to their general direction; they seemed to be accompanied by the two people with names starting with "R". Frankly, he had utterly not paid attention to anyone's names whatsoever, and would be termed a hypocrite, Geoffrey noted wryly.

L.A. coughed under her breath, leaving Guinne's side, (leaving him alone with Rude, something he'd surely kill her for later,) and walked over to Reno, who has flipped his PHS shut. She offered another wave and opened her mouth to shout something, but swiftly threw her arm back down and gaped at the approaching figure. What's his face...?
"Oh nonononononono no no nooooo." She shyed over to the side of Reno, smacking a hand to her head. "Don't tell me this guy is coming with us. Maybe he'll go to another helicoptor. Yea, that's it.....ooooh....."

Reno looked up when he noticed Geoffrey.
"Yo! Intern!" He waved, before nodding at L.A. "Yeah, he's coming. Why?'
Meanwhile, Guinne was furious that L.A. had left him alone with the silent, intimidating, pure awesome that was Rude. That horrible horrible woman! She wasn't endearing at all! It was all lies! She threw him under the bus and ran off bwahaha-ing pure evil cackles of laughter as lightning struck menacingly in the background of Guinne's "La-la Land"... ... but he still couldn't move.

Geoffrey's grin had disappeared, replaced by a salute and a normal gritting of the teeth characteristic of him. His eyes registered nothing at first glance, but if one watched closely they seemed to be flitting around the room, often in tandem with the teeth-grinding. However, his voice was slightly sanguine, and tinged with the tiniest bit of arrogance he had presented to them when he spoke to the female. "Yes 'm, I'm coming. Anything wrong?" Geoffrey bowed, attempting to make the movement as insulting as he could, and then, when he came up, his face was again indecipherable. "We should get going."
